Right after I graduated as an Industrial designer back in 1999 I started a furniture brand together with my friend Steven Brouns. We felt there was a need for a new type of furniture that was able to adjust itself to the ever changing life situations. Hence the name Livingelements. The name JZUZ was conceived because we believed we had to spread the message of this new kind of living. The first elements were a u and a square shaped seating element. All figures are in great condition and come with their own box, except C21, stickers, tape and cutter gloves, a piece of rope and their misty heads. The height of CC21 is 38 cm / 14.960 inches.
These designer toys have been in storage since 2003 out of sunlight and in a smoke free environment.

The Carver chair is a rare variant of the campanula model with armrests which traditionally were placed at the head and foot of a large dining table, the original 'campanula' carver chairs are almost never found today so this is an extremely rare opportunity to obtain one
This chair is an early examples identified by its artisan crafted solid wood frames and the 'Arflex' manufacturer's label which we managed to save from the original upholstery and have put back onto the new fabric
Restoration details:
This chair has had its upholstery completely restored in our upholstery shop , stripping it right back to its bare wood frame and then applying new high quality rubber seat and backrest support webbing by the original Italian manufacturer 'Pirelli', then new Pantera foam has been applied throughout replacing the old, dry and crumbling original foam and finally the chairs have been finished in a new elegant bright yellow top quality Mohair velvet fabric.
The beautiful elegant tapered form brass legs have been sympathetically and lightly hand polished and may still exhibit some small signs of user wear commensurate with originality age and use. We did not want to machine polish the legs as it can take away at lot of the original vintage appeal.
Carlo Pagani worked in the offices of Gio Ponti and collaborated and partnered Gio Ponti on several important projects which were documented in the Italian design journals of the period such as the August 1940 issue of Domus. 1940s Pair of Early Charles Eames for Herman Miller Lcw Lounge Chairs in Birch
Located in Philadelphia, PA
Designed in the late 1940s by Charles Eames, this chair has cemented itself in Mid-Century Design like very few other pieces. Early models like this are difficult to come by and are very rarely in such good condition, as many have been worked on in some way or another before their value shot up. These chairs feature a super sleek design of steam-bent plywood, an incredibly innovative technique pioneered by Herman Miller in collaboration with the Eames's and manufacturing firm Evans. The large seat and back are mounted to a molded plywood base with rubber shock mounts, another Eames staple. This allows them to have excellent contrast through spacing, which gives them an excellent stance, almost insect-like. Both are early chairs with the 5-2-5 screw configurations beneath.
This pair features all original hardware, finish, and shock mounts. Very few blemishes, and those that exist are minimal, barely visible even in our high-res pictures.
