Vintage Wrought-Iron Diana the Huntress Pattern Garden Bench with Upholstery
By Molla
Located in Atlanta, GA
A Molla painted wrought iron upholstered garden bench from the mid-20th century depicting Diana, goddess of the hunt and her arrows. Created in the midcentury, this exquisite iron bench features a nicely weathered painted finish. Revealing its neoclassical influence, the nicely curved back is adorned with arrow motifs in its upper section that give us a hint about the character depicted below in each pierced splat. We are indeed in the presence of Diana, goddess of the moon and of the hunt, also known as Artemis in Greek mythology. Dressed in her typical garment and showcasing the moon crescent on her head, she is ready to draw an arrow from her quiver. One of her canine companions is placed behind her. Both of them are surrounded by delicate foliage reminding us of Diana's taste for the outdoors. Two scrolling open arms flank the rectangular seat, recovered with a new upholstery. The ensemble is raised on eight slightly splaying legs. With its neoclassical theme and weathered patina, this American painted bench...

Mirror Polished Aluminium Bench with Flax Webbing Seating
By Tino Seubert
Located in London, GB
Originally realised for the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield and inspired by Donald Judd and Børge Mogensen, Anodised Wicker marries industrially extruded and anodised aluminium with hand-woven cane wicker, rush envelope and flax webbing seats. The clinical and precise aluminium contrasts the warm and organic material. To this day we assemble the pieces in my studio in London and apply the cane, rush or webbing seating ourselves. The collection consists of this bench sized 1282mm x 408mm x 430mm (W x L x H) available with a Scandinavian flax webbing (this listing), woven glossy lapping cane seating or a reel rush envelope seating, a shorter stool...

18th Century English Georgian Oak Bench with Carved Back and Custom Upholstery
Located in Atlanta, GA
An English Georgian period oak bench from the 18th century with solid carved back, out-scrolling arms and new custom upholstered cushion. This exquisite English Georgian period oak bench from the 18th century is a remarkable piece of furniture that encapsulates the elegance and craftsmanship of its era. With a solid carved back that leans slightly for comfort, this bench features simple yet refined panel carvings that exude a timeless appeal. The out-scrolling arms add a touch of sophistication and grace, inviting one to sit and linger in its comfort. Newly adorned with a custom upholstered cushion, this bench marries the sturdiness of its oak construction with the softness and modernity of contemporary fabric. This juxtaposition not only enhances its aesthetic appeal but also increases its functionality and comfort, making it a versatile addition to any home. Placed in a foyer, this bench offers a welcoming spot for guests to remove shoes or pause for a moment. In a living room, it provides additional seating that is both stylish and practical, blending seamlessly with both traditional and modern decor. Its straight legs ensure stability, while its historical charm and new upholstery breathe new life into this antique, making it a focal point in any space. The English Georgian bench...
