The Long Vaisseau Bench works as an ottoman at a scale that most ottomans cannot reach: 96 inches wide, in Medium Hammered Brass metal, with the arching hourglass profile that Paul Mathieu derived from the metal-clad storage furniture of India. The lid opens to a teak-lined interior with a removable inset tray. At 17 inches, the height is correct for a footrest or additional seating.
