Melis Tatlicibasi is an Interior Designer from Turkey.
She graduated from Yasar University of Izmir in 2017 and also holds a degree of Master of Interior Design from Florence Design Academy in Italy. Her interest in Furniture Design was initiated by her Arts History Lecturer, who asked them to design a piece of furniture inspired by a famous architect. She designed a desk lamp inspired by Le Corbusier's "Fountain House” which was greatly acclaimed by her superiors and was elected for the Academy Exhibition. This has triggered the passion in her for furniture design.
She worked with a group of talented craftsmen and upholsterers. She was ready to present her collection with the help of the Grikart Photography team. This is how she immortalized the panda, which has a special place in her life, and the cloud lounge chair...
