STACKABL is a configurator that allows anyone to customize furniture online, an innovative system that allows you to turn high-quality, surplus metal, wood, and felt offcuts from our manufacturing partners – located within a 150-mile-radius – into fully finished, custom works ready to be shipped to your home or project.
Aided by algorithms and robotics, the configurator identifies remnant inventory (in the form of metal, wood, and felt) that fits your aesthetic choices. This inventory is then put back through the manufacturers' own machines, and into the hands of their own experts, who execute your design.
In the fall of 2020, Maison Gerard paired with STACKABL to show just what can be accomplished with the configurator. Maison Gerard tapped the talents of six prominent designers, asking them to create pieces of their own within STACKABL.

A tribute to Alfred Sloan’s American pragmatism joined to European styling and, in this particular case, to the renowned Italian talent constantly aiming to harmonize beauty and functionality.
In solid beech and straw, Vienna is a perfect combination between digital machines and handcraft. The structure is in solid beech. The back and sides in hand-braided Vienna straw fixed in a milling. Cushions in polyurethane foam in different densities. Removable lining in different fabric categories: cotton, felt, linen, eco-leather, wool, velvet or can be coated with C.O.M. fabric. Optional 2nd cushion available.
Finishing is in natural beech or beech painted walnut Canaletto.

Essential and elegant stool with a bent plywood shell upholstered in leather. and four iconic legs with triangular shape in solid oak, joined by transversal wooden bars. The seat can have a low back as listed, or an high back as a normal chair for a very comfortable long time seating. Belongs to the same collection the Tria simple chair, using the same shell on shorter legs.
The shell is wood veneered (natural oak or stained open pore in the colors black, white, red, coffee), or upholstered. Fabric lining: C.O.M fabric; cotton, mix cotton-linen; felt, wool; velvet or leather (as listed).
