This monumentally sized fiber art tapestry was handmade by Tekima, Germany in circa 1970. The stunning use of materials and colors create a vibrant and unique design supported by four wires. The main colors of burgundy, browns and greys are accented with flakes of gold colored fibers and the three dimensional design includes large matching tassels draped throughout. Designed by E. Farber and handmade in the Tekima workshops, known for quality as you can tell by this masterful piece which is still in beautiful condition despite the 50 or so years that it has lived. Signed on the front with the artists insignia and on the back by the Tekima label.
