This coin bracelet is a masterpiece of history and sophisticated aesthetic. Featuring 26 replica British Royal Minted coins 1911 that are interlocked and overlapped to create a smooth, delicate, and charming bracelet.
The obverse (face side) features a leftward-facing handsome bust portrait of King George V, surrounded by inscriptions in Latin:
"GEORGIVS V D.G. BRITT: OMN: REX F.D. IND: IMP:"
Which translates to “George the Fifth, by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India.” A design by Edgar Bertram Mackennal, an Australian sculptor and medallist.
The reverse features the iconic design by Italian engraver Benedetto Pistrucci of St. George mounted on horseback slaying a dragon.
