This is a wonderful antique hand carved Rose Quartz Easter Egg in a Silver Gilt Basket pendant or charm. The egg pendant is Hallmarked on both of the bales with the Faberge Workmaster mark of Hjalmar Armfelt – ЯА who was active from 1904-1917. It is also marked with the Russian silver standard 88 with the kokoshnik mark of the ladies head to the right for after 1908, and the "a" alpha mark for St. Petersburg. The egg pendant or charm is an absolutely elegant jewel with so much character. I just love the gorgeous hand carved pink Rose Quartz egg set in the Easter Basket...

This Locket Pendant Necklace is a magnificent piece of Austro-Hungarian Garnet, Turquoise and Pearl jewelry. It is in the Renaissance Revival style and dates to circa 1870. The gems are all set in silver gilt as was the custom of the Austro-Hungarian jewels. The bale is 14 Karat Gold. In the center is a gorgeous Pearl set in a flower motif collet. The pearl is surrounded by a flower halo of 8 pear shape flat cut Bohemian Garnet gems. The garnets are all set in decorated collets. The border is set with two oval flat cut Garnets and eight Turquoise cabochons that alternate with raised flower motif designs. The locket is also engraved on both the front and in a wonderful pattern on the back. The locket opens to reveal places for two photos if desired. I love the way the gems are set in the raised settings on the locket creating a visually stunning and dramatic piece. It is very rare to find Austro-Hungarian lockets...

This is a spectacular museum quality antique Edwardian 43 Carat Black Star Sapphire and Seed Pearl Garland Suite. The suite comprising a necklace, bracelet and earrings each with black star sapphires, which total approximately 43 Carat total weight. The gorgeous black star sapphires and pearls are set in 10 Karat Yellow Gold in a motif of foliate vines tied by ribbon bows. The suite of jewels represents extraordinary design in the pantheon of Victorian - Edwardian garland motif jewels. The suite dates to the Edwardian Period, circa 1905. Provenance: The jewels are from the estate of Muriel Gluck, the esteemed patron and philanthropist of the arts in New York, Los Angeles and San Diego. From her Los Angeles Times obituary: "Muriel Gluck, a philanthropist who gave millions of dollars to support the arts and education, primarily in Los Angeles and San Diego. From the early years of her marriage to retail magnate and race horse breeder Maxwell H. Gluck in the late 1940s, she was an art collector who also appreciated classical music. The couple established the Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation.
