Beautifully handcrafted antique display stand or porte montre from which to hang a pocket watch features an ornate, baroque scrolling motif antique gold finish metal frame with a pair of loving cherubs on top and a burgundy velvet circular cushion back with one hook. Would make a wonderful gift for a pocket watch collector! The pocket watch hooks from the center hook, with the circular velvet padding behind. The velvet is loosely attached and shows some wear which is to be expected due to age. Decorative easel back stand is stationary and is attached to the back. Please note pocket watch in photos is not included. It is just being used to show you what a pocket watch would look like hanging on the hook.

This exceptional vintage Swiss 18k gold lighter has a rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of the vintage lighter is embellished with a two-tone gold textured woven lozenge design.
The anterior surface of the hallmarked hinged cover bears a continuation of the decoration to the body and opens to reveal the lighter's eyelet.
The anterior corner of the gold lighter bears a vertical cylindrical ribbed spark/flint wheel; the lighter is in working order.
The underside of the lighter bears a push fit panel, allowing access for the lighter to be re-filled, and bearing the feature hallmarks.

Chinese Antique Qing Carved "Mutton Fat" Nephrite Plaque Pendant Certified

Elegant, rare, and dating to the late Qing period (circa 1890s), this hand-carved nearly colorless white nephrite plaque has been etched on both sides. One one, the Chinese mythological figure known as Zhang Guo Lao is depicted riding a mule. On the opposite side, a magpie sits on a branch of cherry blossoms. The magpie is associated with intelligence. The carving is breathlessly simple and excellent; the work executed -of course- without the aid of electricity or modern tools.
Measuring 42.54mm x 29.92mm, the plaque has a hole drilled through the center, which is original to the piece. A silver bail is threaded through the hole and a pair of beads -black jade and coral- reside at the bottom. The jade plaque hands from a 1920s silver chain that is 32" in length.
