The Renaissance ring, dated to around the 15th century, is composed of a 22-karat yellow gold setting in which a carnelian intaglio is set. At the centre of the intaglio, a Jewish engraving is easily recognizable, namely the Menorah, the seven-armed candelabra symbolizing divine light, the days required for the creation and symbol of the Temple in Jerusalem.
