Description
Luminous Mediterranean scene by Spanish painter Ignacio Gil Sala depicting a mother holding her daughter on the rocky shore of Ibiza. The composition combines figure painting and coastal landscape through a vibrant, expressive brushstroke typical of late 20th-century Spanish post-Impressionism. The intense blues of the sea contrast with the warm tones of the rocks and figures, creating a bright and atmospheric Mediterranean setting. Works depicting Ibiza and family scenes by the sea are especially appreciated by collectors of Spanish figurative painting and Mediterranean coastal art.
