Context: Part of a series of pointillism and ink compositions, the work portrays a human without a face, without hair, without clothes, only emotions that overflow in geometric shapes and colors.
Mariana San Martin Garcia is from south of Brasil, graduated in Visual Arts and Bachelor of Graphic Design from the Federal University of Pelotas in the class of 2011/2, worked for years with advertising in the area of creation, before turning completely to art.
Currently residing in Rio de Janeiro, where he has been exploring techniques of painting and illustration seeking to represent human complexities and subtleties through the superposition of materials and techniques such as acrylic, pastel, glue, ink and pointillism.
