Woman at the River- Etching ad Drypoint by A. Doré - Late 1900

By Amandine Doré

Located in Roma, IT

Woman at the River is a beautiful drypoint made by the French painter, illustrator, and writer Amandine Doré in the second half of the 20th century. The state of preservation of the artwork is very good, although the paper has some dark stains that do not affect its reading. This original print shows a very sensual naked woman on a riverbank inside a forest. Amandine Doré (Paris, 1912-2011) is one of the pseudonyms of Odette Amandine Bonne, who signed also as “Aurèa” or “Madame”, according to the type of subject matter of her artworks. Amandine was a French painter, illustrator, and writer. Her production varied from erotic to travel illustrations...

Adolescence - Original Etching ad Drypoint by A. Doré - Late 1900

By Amandine Doré

Located in Roma, IT

Adolescence is a beautiful drypoint realized by the French painter, illustrator, and writer Amandine Doré in the second half of the 20th century. The state of preservation is excellent and the image, sensual and pleasant, describes a young nude woman kneeling in a meadow, surrounded by flowers and butterflies. This is an artist’s proof. On the higher left, there are some indications written in pencil for the print: “157 imprimes / 27 imprimes / + 2 sans numerò”. On the higher right, still in pencil, “Modéle 75 épreuves” is written. Amandine Doré (Paris, 1912-2011) is one of the pseudonyms of Odette Amandine Bonne, who signed also as “Aurèa” or “Madame”, according to the type of subject matter of her artworks.
