"Topo" - Contemporary Abstract Painting - colorful - aerial landscape - gold
Located in Atlanta, GA
"Topo" is an abstract landscape painting featuring blue and green hues. Kate Hooray Osmond is inspired by the work of Hilma af Klint and Damien Hirst. “My series of paintings deal with sensation and ultra-color,” Kate explains. “I am considering the concepts of over-consciousness, Horror Vacui and the overlap between joy and terror. In visual art, “horror vacui” (from Latin “fear of empty space”), also kenophobia (from Greek “fear of the empty”), is the filling of the entire surface of a space or an artwork with detail. For this series titled “Gold,” each piece is influenced by a topic of consideration: technology, super-nature, genetics, pharmaceuticals, perception. As Kate studies and meditates on these subjects, her path of investigation grows more and more intense until she teeters between becoming overwhelmed by fear for our future and a euphoria filled with hope and intention. “I feel so much life that I am paralyzed by it, and I am confounded by how sensation and numbness can blend together,” says Kate. “All that glitters is Gold.” Born in 1983, Kate Hooray Osmond earned her MFA in Studio Art from...

Alternating Aubergine, purple and gold geometric abstract painting on paper
Located in Dallas, TX
"Alternating Aubergine" is a contemporary work on paper with purple tones and gold. Part of Kazaan Viveiros' series titled "Passages", this artwork comes in a gold box frame and ready to hang. A Fellow at the Virginia Center for Creative Arts since 2015, Kazaan Viveiros earned a BA with distinction from the University of Virginia in Studio Art and Religious Studies, and an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. With an interest in architecture, plus being a talented mathematician, it is no surprise that Kazaan Viveiros’ paintings are works of geometric perfection. Carefully considered shapes and colours dynamically draw your eye up and down diagonals before pausing or pivoting at junctions. In contrasting effect to these visuals, the subject matter that this work references is natural and fluid, such as water, handwriting, or nature itself. Viveiros' paintings have caught the attention of collectors far and wide. Five of her pieces are permanently installed in the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and have additionally been acquired by individuals such as Walmart's Rob Walton and novelist Danielle Steel.

EMANATION
Located in New York, NY
EMANATION 60" x 102", $39,000 About the Series: For Dray, Philosophy deals in the abstract and abstraction is an indispensable tool in art and culture. Through his paintings, he reasserts that abstraction has been a part of humanity, all cultures in all ages. It’s an indispensable tool, as we create symbols, vessels to fill with allusions and messages. The resulting artwork have a strong sense of purpose. Each painting contains hundreds of hand coloured trapezoid shapes, hand drawn with a sharp blade onto silver or gold leaf. Each coloured shape can be interpreted to represent an ‘atomic’ element. On its own a block of colour is insignificant but seen as part of a whole it becomes dynamic and alive reflecting on how nature works. The phenomena of light is also important to the work. The light of the sun in a room illuminates and reflects off the paintings as they come alive and change through time. About the Artist: Benjamin Dray is an artist based in Sydney, Australia. He completed his formal art education in Australia and has painted continuously for the last 30 years living and working in his studio home on Scotland Island...

Truth, 2017 Print on Museum Glass, Hand gilded with Lemon and Moon Gold 31 x 31 cm/ 12.2 x 12.2 in (custom framed) Edition of 5 This print is from a series of images made from a collection of honesty seeds gathered at the end of baking hot summer... The papery enclosures are like parchment through which the light filters with a pale gold delicacy." The beauty of the pieces printed on glass are truly revealed when seen in the flesh, which shimmer in the daylight and change constantly as different light sources are reflected off the print. "My fascination with colour goes back a long way. One of my earliest creative recollections has me sitting at a table endlessly mixing paints in a valiant but ultimately futile attempt to 'invent a new colour'. It was an imperative that kept me occupied for some time as I recall. The result was always the same - and unedifying fudge of pale peach and silver." - Valda Bailey...

Sacred Abstraction On Carved 3D Wood Panel
Located in Lake Worth Beach, FL
Sacred Abstraction, Royal blue, red and gold leaf on carved wood pane, signed on the back. Krzysztof (Chris) Sokolovski born in 1985 in Eisiskes in Lithuania. Visual artist creating neosacral art: paintings, luminous objects, installations, and monumental painting. He is a creator of the concept of neosacral art. Since 2003 he lives and creates in Poland. He graduated from Gdansk University of Technology (Faculty of Power Engineering) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (Faculty of Painting). Also, the artist took a course in clinical anatomy at the Medical University of Gdansk. Sokolovski has created neosacral chapels in Klebark Wielki (Poland) and in Salesian Sisters Convent in Jerusalem. Concept: Sokolowski wants to create modern sacral art founded on visual tradition and theologies of many cultures. “I think that abstract codification of faith is the prospective and only way to save serious attitude to contemporary human’s spirituality. It is fundamental for responsible usage of developing knowledge about the empirical world and for forming sensibility, which should be adequate to it. In my opinion, the progress of civilization cannot be holistic if it is mostly based on scientific and technological development – metaphysical sensitivity is necessary too. Empirical knowledge is confinement if we use it only for improving conveniences and gaining more knowledge. It is not enough for the evolution of mind, which should advance along with changes in our environment.” Individual Exhibition 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Saris Museum, Bardejov, Slovakia 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Lublin, Poland 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Gallery “Camaldolese Cellar”, Church in Bielany Forest, Warsaw, Poland 2018 – “Neosacral Art”, Museum of Mińsk Mazowiecki, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, Zielona 13 Gallery, Łódź, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, the University of Warsaw Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2017 – “Neosacral Art”, Bohema Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Philosophy of Religion Department, University of Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Gallery of Association “Polish Community”, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “Neosacral Art”, Exhibition-Conferential Centre, Białystok, Poland Selected group exhibition 2017 – “Deification of Body”, Sheptytsky National Museum in Lviv, Ukraine 2017 – “Sokolovski / Wąsowski / Jędrzejko / Mazuś”, Bohema Gallery, Warsaw, Poland 2016 – “1st Pomeranian Biennial of Young Art”, Sopot, Poland 2016 – “Shape of Spirit”, Gallery of Mathematics and Computer Science Department, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland 2016 – “Diverted Reality”, Evelyn E. Mathilde lefort Healing Gate - Ashes and Gold on canvas
Located in Naples, Florida
Through its elementary rectangular shape, HEALING GATE is conceived as an access route to the higher lights of this universe. A way to remember that the light always wins. Born from the shamanic knowledge of the artist, these door is a pathway to higher dimensions. It acts as a catalyst for darkness, negative emotions and demons, transmuting them into light. Using ashes to create her own black, Mathilde Lefort employed in this painting her shamanic knowledge to heal the sadness of not feeling loved at an universal level. Meditating with the ashes in her hands, she called in this specific feeling who is then transmuting into light by the gold mantrahidden in the middle of the piece. --- Mathilde Lefort is a french visual artist based in Bali, Indonesia Holder of a Master’s Degree at EHESS Paris (France), Mathilde is specialized in war representations and human rights. In parallel with her theoretical studies, she developed an artistic practice around these questions. Using art video, installation and visual publications, she exhibited her work both in Paris and across Europe. Going back to New Caledonia, she lived in total immersion in a tribe located in the north of the island from 2017 to 2019. There she co-direct EDEN TRIBAL, 52 min documentary produced by Box Fish Productions and sold to France Television. The movie tells the story of a Kanak woman fighting to be the chief of her tribe, within the context of the island’s referendum for independence. This period was spent in a deep loneliness. Rejected by the community while deeply in love, Mathilde wandered the darkness of her soul. She captured empty landscapes and wrote the ambulations of her mind to reflect on her loss of identity, the meaning of love, the woman’s place, racism and colonialism. Now in Bali, she follows an unpredictable journey intertwining art, death, and magic. Stabbed to death in 2020, she pursues today her shamanic journey while crafting abstract paintings and sculptures rooted in mystical knowledge. Her art presents itself as a meditation...
