"Taurus the Bull Constellation" - Reverse-Painted Astronomical Art by Dave Archer
Detailed and hyper-realistic planetary scene with the Taurus constellation by Dave Archer (American, b. 1941). This piece features several planets of various colors, one of which has rings. In addition to the planets, there are nebulous clouds swirling throughout the scene. The Taurus constellation has been faintly added such that the stars can be seen through it. Several of the planets have been executed with foil, giving them an iridescent quality.
