Time Changes by Mary Scott [2022] Time Changes is an original work by Mary Scott. This painting is inspired by the deep sea, wide skies and changing weather here in Cornwall. Painted dominantly in blue and white, I wanted it to evoke that place between the sea and the weather, the elements in motion. Painted dominantly in shades of white and ‘Prussian blue’, it was created with many layers of oil, cold wax and fine rock powder with abstract expressionistic mark making resulting in a rich surface patina.
