This wonderful seaport painting is by Jan Simon Knikker Jr. (Dutch, 1911–1990). Knikker was a prolific painter of the Hague school. Judging by the subject and age of the canvas this wonderful depiction of an industrial dutch port is from the 1960's. Signed lower right. Condition is good. Oil on canvas.
