In 2009, she graduated from the GS faculty of the Kharkov National Academy of Municipal Economy with a degree in architecture. Member of the Kharkov Organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (graphics section) since 2018. She took part in course for design and decoration. She practices techniques of decoupage, craquelure, painting on glass, modeling of polymer clay, drawing up fabric and floristic panels, felting. She is master in technique of sand animation. It works both in online animation and in the creation of original paintings made with sand on glass. She took part with sand animation in the annual charity evening held in London. Participant of numerous All-Ukrainian exhibitions and international open-airs. In 2010, she taught sand animation at the Beitdan Jewish Center (Kharkov). In 2013, she took part in a drawing course at the Family Art Club Family Development Center, in 2014 she worked in a ceramic workshop (Kiev). The peculiarity of the artist is in her individual manner of execution: Maestro Dobrovolskaya works with mixed technique of watercolors and pastels, which gives the work a feeling of hyper-realism. Portraits occupy a special place in her work, in which great attention is paid to detailing in order to convey the character of a person. In the technique of pencil graphics, as well as mixed (pencil with a liner), the artist depicts the city landscape - one of her favorite subjects, which is due to her training at the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning, under the guidance of remarkable teachers: N.I. BIOGRAFIA DE JOSEP NAVARRO VIVES Pintor español de Barcelona perteneciente a la generación de los 50. Estudió en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios de Barcelona a mediados de la década de los años 40. Más tarde completará su formación académica en París y Londres, hecho que le proporcionó el contacto con los movimientos de vanguardia de posguerra. Trabajó dentro del informalismo matérico, exploró en el campo de la abstracción geométrica y el cinetismo formando parte del Grupo de Trabajo MENTE. Años más tarde volvió al mundo de la figuración. Durante los últimos, la creación de Josep Navarro continúa gravitando entre la abstracción y la figuración. Nace en Francia, en Castelsarrasin (1931), una localidad situada en el Tarn-et-Garonne, muy cerca de Moissac y Montauban donde pasa los primeros años de su infancia hasta que se traslada, con parte de su familia, a Barcelona donde al poco tiempo estallará la Guerra Civil Española. En Barcelona se matriculó a los 14 años en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios. Pronto entra como aprendiz en una casa de imágenes religiosas, conocida como Casa Reixac, donde aprende el oficio de restauración, la técnica de la policromía, y sobre todo el arte de dorar. En ese entorno conocerá a Lluis M. Saumells Panadés y Ramón Sabi. En 1952 ingresa en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Sant Jordi de Barcelona. Durante el segundo curso, conoce al pintor Joan Serra, con quien descubrirá el Ampurdán y la Costa Brava. Gana el primer premio en la Exposición de pinturas universitarias y obtiene una beca que le ayuda a seguir estudiando, y participar en exposiciones colectivas en Barcelona y Madrid. Su estancia en Madrid le permitirá visitar con frecuencia el Museo del Prado, estudiando a los grandes maestros como Velázquez, Zurbarán, El Greco, Tiziano, etc. En 1957, obtiene una beca para completar su formación en París, asistiendo a los cursos de l’École des Beaux Arts y de l’Accadémie de la Grande Chaumière. En la capital francesa entra en contacto con un panorama artístico e intelectual distinto, que le abre las puertas a nuevas ideas. Durante su estancia en París recibe el encargo de la restauración de algunas de las salas del Elysée, trabajo muy reconocido por lo que es felicitado personalmente por el Presidente Monsieur Cothy. Más tarde realizará otra importante restauración: la de la oficina del Ministro de la Marina y finalmente el palco presidencial del Palais Garnier. Terminada su estancia en París, obtiene una nueva beca para ir a Londres donde se matricula en el Sant Martin’s School of Art (Londres). En Londres empieza a participar en algunas exposiciones colectivas e individuales y además obtiene el primer premio en la competición de carteles publicitarios del Ferrocarril Británico. En estos años de viajes entre París y Londres, Josep Navarro comienza a investigar dentro del informalismo matérico, corriente artística dominante en la Europa de mediados de siglo. En 1963, Josep Navarro regresa a Barcelona y entra en contacto con la Escuela de Barcelona, con Tàpies al frente. En esta época, Josep Navarro inicia su etapa informalista. Esta exploración matérica en la obra de Josep Navarro marcará la década de 1959 a 1969. El trabajo con texturas y materia va consolidando un lenguaje propio que desembocará en la inclusión de algunos elementos figurativos que marcarán el inicio del período marcado por la serie “Puertas”. La serie “Puertas”, es un trabajo basado en las puertas de Barcelona. En esta serie Josep Navarro establece una recuperación de la forma basada en la materia. Utiliza pigmentos naturales, mezclándolos entre sí para lograr el efecto del hierro, y de la madera. Estas puertas serán el elemento de transición entre su etapa informalista y su evolución hacia la abstracción geométrica. In this ninth decade of life, and as a working artist for nearly70 years, Suzanne Benton has become interested in the concept of Late Style as described by the literary theorist Edward Said. “Each of us can supply evidence of late works, which crown a lifetime of aesthetic endeavor,” Matisse had it with his renowned paper cuts. While nearly blind, Monet created the water lily paintings as his final legacy to the history of art.  Benton's Late Style arrived as a surprise during the Covid pandemic. The resultant aloneness from sheltering in place brought her to an uncanny level of solitude that only painting could voice. She reached for the purest of colors, and entered a celebratory world to create the Neo-Transcendental paintings titled All About Color. The disappeared narrative came as a surprise. It had been the mainstay of the masks and mask tale performances, monoprints and paintings. This time though, the artist needed to bring a vibrancy to canvas, and to make tangible this sense of sheer essence that had pressed into her inner self in that time of stillness. Well educated in color by John Ferren, the abstract expressionist painter who’d taught the year’s color study at Queen College. The sensitivity developed further through four lengthy art-working journeys to India, starting in 1976-77, continuing with a 1992-1993 Fulbright, and additional South Asia residencies in 1995, and 2011. Those and others in Africa brought an ever more attuned palette to decades of monoprints with Chine collé that featured imagery from world culture, as well as her Americana of 19th and 20th century women writers, educators, suffragists, and feminists. These Late Style artworks explore the cosmic realm. Its deceptive simplicity reminds Benton of Buffie Johnson’s late work.
