Antique Twisted Wire

Antique carpet beater, to remove dust from carpets, in the shape of a guitar in heavy twisted metal wire woven into a honeycomb, to obtain greater resistance.

The antique cast iron pulley, featuring deep embossed letters, gives the light the ability to extend the 21” length of twisted cloth covered wire to adjust the height of the light.

The basket was lovingly crafted by hand from twisted metal wire. Each flower is lovingly handcrafted from various metals, including brass and copper.

The stone is original to the ring and secured by sixteen hand-cut Georgian prongs, further framed by a tight twist of buttery gold wire—a distinctly Georgian decorative flourish.

The crystal is mounted onto 14 karat yellow gold and is surrounded by two rows of twisted gold wire. The overall crystal included gold frame measures 3/4 of an inch.
