"DESK SET I", 2012, in majolica glazed earthenware by artist Andrew Cornell Robinson, is one of a series of sculptural objects that are also known as "faience" – tin-glazed ceramics.

This tondino has a well centered with the letter E within a square panel encircled by a scale motif, the rim of triangles interspersed with mushrooms.

The shaped dish is densely applied to the well with natural almonds, within a border of scattered foliate motifs painted in brown and blue within sea-green line borders.
