18th Century inlaid mahogany chest
About the Item
A fabulous quality 18th Century inlaid mahogany bowfront chest of drawers, having a lovely figured top decorated with chequered inlay, four long graduated drawers below with finely engraved oval brass plate and ring handles, wonderfully figured drawer fronts with further chequered inlay and shell inlay in each corner, all inlays are original of superior quality, having a shaped apron at the front and sides and supported on splay feel. In excellent condition and having a lovely warm rich colour. Circa 1790.
