The opening of the unit, characterized by the Dual-Flap® system (patented Acerbis) in which the large door and a portion of the top open simultaneously, transforms the door into practical desk and reveals the interior, finished in eucalyptus wood and perfectly arranged with shelves, small drawer for pens and power plugs (2 Shuko and 2 USB). At the same time, the small top remains open with the right angle to facilitate access to the compartment and illuminate the interior with a continuous beam of light, thanks to a LED lamp perfectly integrated in the thickness of the top. Created in 1975 by Florentine architect Roberto Monsani, Life is a modular sofa and an armchair with a soft seat. The compact design allows great versatility, while the large seat gives a pleasant cosy feeling. Providing a combination of full and empty spaces, it is an architecture that affects the space creating a harmonious balance between form and function. Originally created with a plexiglass shell, which was avant-garde for the time, today’s version reverses the direction towards the cabinetmakers’ world and expertise.
