Rare pair of Witco Meathead cat sculptures. The two solid cedar wood carved Meathead cats come complete with their eyes intact. We are mentioning this because these cats are often missing their signature orange and white eyes. These nearly 3-foot tall Witco cats look strikingly similar to the character “Meathead” in the film Meatballs 2. Vintage 1960s-1970s, carved from solid swamp cedar wood. A fantastic Brutalist Credenza Sideboard by William Westenhaver for Witco. Carved wooden panels with great depth and detail decorate the entire body of this sideboard. The front has two cabinets doors that open to drawers on the top and cabinet storage beneath. The center panels do not open but the storage is continued behind them inside the credenza. Large abstract carvings flowing with large round carved handles for the cabinet doors. The carving is amazing with such depth that you can see the grain throughout like looking at stacked or layered wood.
