Each piece has a plain circular compressed form onto a plain circular collet foot. The lower portion of each item is embellished with embossed fluted decoration in the Queen Anne style. The surface of the upper portion of each piece is plain with an impressive applied gadroon decorated border to the waisted flared rim. The teapot is fitted with a flush hinged domed hallmarked cover, which also features fluted decoration; the flush hinge indicates the Fine quality of this service. A fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver cream and sugar presentation set made by Charles Stuart Harris - boxed; part of our silver teaware collection. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver afternoon teaware set consists of a sugar bowl, a cream jug, six teaspoons and a pair of sugar tongs. The cream jug and sugar bowl have a circular rounded form and ornamented with embossed and chased segmented floral and leaf motifs. The cream jug is fitted with a C scroll handle accented with a figurehead ornamentation. Both the cream jug and sugar bowl retains the original gilt interior. Each teaspoon has been crafted in the Old English pattern. The anterior surfaces of the teaspoon handles and the bridge of the sugar tongs are embellished with panels of bright cut engraved scrolling leaf decoration, accented with star motifs and incorporating a bead bordered vacant oval cartouche. This vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver caddy spoon is realistically modelled in the form of a jockey cap; the design is based on an original George III jockey cap style caddy spoon. The outer surface of the cap is encircled with embossed panels of ribbed decoration accented with stylised husk pendant drops. The peak of the cap is embellished with embossed star, bead and octofoil motif decoration on a ribbed background incorporating a vacant shield shaped cartouche. This unusual vintage silver caddy spoon will sit on either the convex or concave side of the bowl. Condition This vintage caddy spoon is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in exceptional presentation condition. The embossed decoration is very sharp. The subtly convex bases are encircled with an elevated scalloped border. The weighted bases of these impressive menu holders are fitted with green baize to the underside.
