George III Longcase Clock The maker of this Longcase clock was Stephen Hurst from Liverpool. The case is made from the finest mahogany with wonderful use of flame mahogany to the trunk door and base. It is beautifully decorated with boxwood and satinwood stringing throughout and ‘sheraton’ style inlay work of the highest quality. This English George II period 18th century table clock consists in a scarlet-japanned and parcel-gilt rectangular case with elaborate chinoiserie decoration and pierced frets to the sides.
