The main color is referred to as "Ruby Red" in Weil's catalogue of Alfredo Barbini Murano glass. The piece is marked with the original gold & red oval scalloped foil label, “Venetian - Made by Alfredo Barbini for Weil Ceramics and Glass - Murano Italy”, that was in use in 1960s. It is in very good vintage condition, and is ready to be displayed; it would make a great gift to a collector or a design enthusiast and a great display piece on a shelf or a table, and make a perfect addition to a wide range of interiors, from Traditional to Mid Century Modern, Transitional, Collected, or Contemporary.
