Vintage bud vase with green-blue iridescent freeform design on clear, slightly iridescent background was made by Robert Held in Canada. Artistically simple with minimal color palette, the vase is individually hand crafted, and therefore unique, as no two pieces in the series will be exactly the same. The vase is in good vintage condition with a few small surface scratches that do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece. It is signed with etched "R. Held Art Glass" at the base. Robert Held Art Glass is one of the best-known art glass studios in Canada. Held created Canada's first glassblowing program at the Sheridan College School of Design in 1969.
