An exquisite rare miniature stoneware vase of bulbous form, with tiny twin handles and a long neck, covered with a flowing strong blue glaze, crystalline in places, on a yellow ground. By the ‘Pierrefonds’ French ceramic studio in Oise, Picardie, north of Paris. It was a pottery established in 1903 by Olivier de Sorra, Count Hallez D’Arros, at Pierrefonds, a village at the foot of the famous majestic Ducs d’Orléans castle.
