Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso bright orange Italian art glass fish on base sculpture. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1950s. Published in his book (see photo), model 6180, and a later model number 6913 is in the same shape. The fish has little murine eyes, with white Latticino ribbons on the fins and tail. It is balanced on a clear glass base. Would make a great display piece on any dresser, coffee table, or display cabinet. Mid-century era. Would make a great addition to any Nautical, Marine / Ocean theme room. Measures: 9 5/8" tall x 5 5/8" long x 3 3/8" wide. Last photo shows other colors currently available in the gallery.
