Ormolu Lighting

A very elegant pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. ormolu and white Carrara marble statues mounted into lamps. Each lamp is raised by bun ormolu supports below a circular white Carrara marble base. Above the base is a circular ormolu column pedestal decorated by swaging floral garlands flanked by protruding vertical mottled elements and a fluted band above. A classically dressed maiden stands atop the pedestal holding a cornucopia. The pair are richly chased throughout while all original gilt.
