A gorgeous and rare table lamp model 'Phönix' (engl. 'Phoenix') no. 1197 by J.T. Kalmar, Vienna, manufactured in midcentury, circa 1960 (late 1950s or 1960s). The light is documented in the Kalmar catalogue from 1953 as well as 1960. It is made of a solid brass stand and a walnut handle. The fixture has a socket for a medium or standard screw base light bulb. It is rewired and the lampshade is renewed. It is in very good condition with little patina on brass and ready to use.
