This attractive pair of French Louis XV-style armchairs, dating to approximately the 1940s, displays the graceful curves, restrained carving, and comfortable proportions characteristic of traditional French seating. The wooden frames exhibit normal wear, minor surface marks, rubbing, and variations to the finish consistent with their circa-1940 date and regular use.
