For your consideration is this all-original Peacock rocker by Salterini with a great aged patina, composed of twisted, curled, and welded wrought iron wire. A fun and dramatic place to sit, in this less common rocker variation of the Salterini Peacock chair.

Fabulous Scandinavian Modern teak rocker model 120 designed by Ole Wanscher for France & Son and sold by John Stuart Co. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use & wear. The sprung cushions will need new padding & the original brown nubby fabric has no rips or holes but has faded and will need reupholstered, it has been priced accordingly. Has a couple of repairs where the screws were put all the way through leg assembly at some point in their lives. We have repaired & replaced hardware to match. One hole was plugged, and the plug is still slightly visible. It has been sanded, stained & a teak oil finish. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. A Victorian cast iron and leather upholstered rocking armchair attributed to R.W.Winfield second half 19th century in age. The original ox blood button upholstered leather seat above the metal frame with gilt brass screw-caps and bent stops, Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use. The Ox-blood red leather with old splits and cracks and signs of use, but perfectly fit for use. The original rear fabric covering heavily ripped and wouldn't effect the chair if removed or replaced. The frame is solid and stable with no signs of repair., the gilt brass caps with some dirt and discolouration. The cast iron frame with an aged patina of mottled blackening, rust, scratches and abrasions. A completely untouched and very early example of a Winfield rocker.
