An incredible over sized piece, created in Alessandria Italy at the jewelry atelier of Roberto Legnazzi, back in the 1970's. This is a fabulous objet de vertu piece to be exhibited in any desk or place. Has been carefully crafted with strong orientalism patterns in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. It is embellished with a nice selection of calibrated white colorless diamonds and is mount with an incredible extra large piece of natural coral, carved with Japanese motifs and the figure of a standing Quan Yin. The blade is made in the shape of a samurai katana sword.
Diamonds: Mount in a flush setting, with 60 round brilliant cut diamonds, 1.82 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-2 Clarity.
Coral: Mount on top, with 1 piece of coral, carved with orientalism motifs.
Onyx: Accented with, 1 oval double cabochon cut carved from black onyx.
Weight: 334.95 Grams, (214.72 Dwt).
Measurements: 454.66 mm by 142.75 mm (17.90 x 5.62 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark associated to Roberto Legnazzi, the Italian mark for the gold assay signed, "18KT .750 *1932AL".
Roberto Legnazzi
The Legnazzi company represents the fourth generation of a family of jewelers who creates jewelry since 1911 in his workshop in Valenza. The style Legnazzi is a bright example of Italian jewelry tradition and has been able to perpetuate itself over time thanks to the elegance that expresses in his creations. They was always looking for innovation and with a great attention to detail, they seek to satisfy the tastes of a sophisticated international clientele. His exquisite jewels are popular not only in Italy but all over the world. The atelier of Roberto Legnazzi was one of the master enamellers of the David Webb Company back in the 1970's. Actually his jewelry atelier is located at the Corso Giacomo Matteotti, 2, Valenza Alessandria.

Gold bracelet composed of two rigid, articulated elements that form a circle. The bracelet is decorated with a central medallion featuring a micromosaic. The medallion is ringed with cannetille motifs and lines of gold that form arabesques. The quality of metalwork is reminiscent of Etruscan craftsmanship.
The central medallion represents a pastoral scene with two peasants next to a fountain. The man is milking a goat while the woman is refreshing herself at the fountain. Roman ruins stand in the background. This composition was inspired by Francesco Londonio, a Milanese artist. The engravings of his paintings strongly influenced mosaic artisans during the second half of the 19th century.

A sculptural cocktail ring, created in Athens Greece by the jewelry makers of Zolotas, back in the late 1970's. This gorgeous ring is a real statement designed in three dimensions with ancient Greek patterns of four rams heads. This unusual ring has been crafted in solid rich yellow gold of 21 karats with brushed, hammered, textured and frosted finishes.
Lapis lazuli: Mounted in bezel settings, with 2 spherical cabochon cuts of 10 mm carved from natural blue lapis lazuli, with a weight of about 12 carats.
Weight: 13.95 Grams, (8.94 Dwt).
Size: 6 and may be sized on request.
Measurements: 24 mm by 28 mm (0.95 x 1.10 Inches) and raise 15 mm over the finger.

An exceptional and very rare jabot type brooch, created in England during the Victorian era, back in the 1880. This piece is fantastic and has been crafted with renaissance revival patterns in the shape of a miniature sword with jewels, in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with accents in carved platinum. The sword is well proportionate and made with gorgeous details. It is completely decorated with twisted woven wires, engravings and chiseled designs. The sword sheath, the grip pommel and the rain-guard are embellished with a fantastic assortment of eleven natural earth mined gemstones; such white colorless diamonds and vivid green demantoids garnets. It is fitted with a sheath to slide the blade very tight, which is attached to a decorative security chain. Demantoids
Demantoid is the green gemstone variety of the mineral andradite, a member of the garnet group of minerals. Andradite is a calcium- and iron-rich garnet. Ferric iron is the cause of the green in the stone. Although garnets have been known since ancient times, the demantoid variety was not discovered until 1868 in Russia's western central Ural Mountains. The find was an alluvial deposit about 110 km from Ekaterinburg, north by northwest along the Bobrovka River, near the village of Elizavetinskoye. Miners were immediately stunned by the highly refractive nature of the gem material, which is atypical for garnet. They began comparing it to diamond and referred to it as "demantoid", from the old German Demant, meaning diamond. The reason is obvious, with its high brilliance and dispersion. However, as demantoid garnets are quite rare and found in so few locations, they can command quite high prices, especially if they have a particularly lovely horsetail inclusion.
