NAMED ONE OF WATCHPRO MAGAZINE’S “HOT 100” - THE TOP 100 INFLUENCERS OF THE U.S. WATCH INDUSTRY. HOW CAN WE SERVE YOU? We’re new to offering our carefully curated collection on 1stDibs, but we have sold over 10,000 fine watches and exceptionally served thousands of customers with a 5.0 star rating. 1968 LONGINES Vintage Ultra Chron High-Beat Mens Watch with Box - 14K Gold Special "High Frequency" Watch - All Original - Beautiful Condition with Box - 1 Year Warranty In 1967, to commemorate the company's 100th anniversary, Longines released the Ultra-Chron, a new line of extremely accurate wristwatches. Depending on the watch, the balance system ticked away at a speedy 28,800 or a blazing 36,000 beat per hour pace, giving it the ability to run incredibly accurately. Those that beat at 36,000 beats per hour balance system, twice the speed of many traditional watches, ticked away at the fastest beat rate of the era, ensuring exceptional accuracy. Only a few specialist models of watches from a handful of brands beat at 36,000 per hour. The ad campaign's slogan for this award-winning watch was "A New Standard of Time: Guaranteed Accurate to a Minute a Month." In a world before quartz technology, this was an audacious claim. Ultra-Chron watches were the first widely-produced watches to guarantee this accuracy. And it was proved true, even in "real world" testing conditions. Today's offering showcases this early, superior all-original Ultra Chron. It has a truly wonderful retro design with classic dial markers and unusual hands. Its case is a monococque one-body design which originally had a strong watch-resistance. At just under 34mm, it is about the size of a Rolex Date model. It has all of its original parts and is a superior example. It bezel and lugs have never been polished - the top sides and ends of the lugs edges are so sharp they could almost cut you. It has one scratch on the side of a lug from previous opening and one small mark on the right hand side also from previous opening - otherwise it presents as just short of mint. Its untouched original dial is mint even under magnification. One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is running extremely strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new Longines in our testing recording position. While the crown is not at all difficult to wind and the watch winds fine without any real issue, the reverser wheels on these watches are often not buttery smooth and make for a firmer feeling wind, so if you'd prefer not to handwind it it could be a good candidate to be put on a watch winder. For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap, and it comes with a Longines buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Accompanying the watch is its Ultra Chron box. Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime. We provide the best after sale care in the business with an extremely experienced team of four Master Watchmakers all of whom each have over thirty-five years of experience and a large number of parts. One used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealership and was given training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center. Detailed Appraisal: Manufacturer: Longines Country of origin: Switzerland Serial no.: 14,568,218 Year built: c. 1968 Model: Ultra-Chron Designed for: Men Function: Hours, Minutes, Automatic, Sweep Seconds, Semi-Quick Set Date Case material: 14K gold Case markings (outside): 14K GOLD, Use 1225 Wrench Case condition: Its bezel and lugs have never been polished - the top sides and ends of the lugs edges are so sharp they could almost cut you. It has one scratch on the side of a lug from previous opening and one small mark on the right hand side also from previous opening - otherwise it presents as just short of mint. Dimensions: 33.5mm wide (excluding crown), 39mm long lug tip-to-tip Hands: Original, gold, wonderful retro styling Movement type: Longines Ultra Chron...

Located in Suwanee, GA

NAMED ONE OF WATCHPRO MAGAZINE’S “HOT 100” - THE TOP 100 INFLUENCERS OF THE U.S. WATCH INDUSTRY. HOW CAN WE SERVE YOU? We’re new to offering our carefully curated collection on 1stDibs, but we have sold over 10,000 fine watches and exceptionally served thousands of customers with a 5.0 star rating. MR Melissa Rivers Prototype Ladies Watch - PERSONALLY OWNED BY JOAN RIVERS with COA Certificate of Authenticity - Full Provenance with 2 COAs - 1 Year Warranty Today's offering showcases this uniquely meaningful from our Celebrity Collection: A prototype MR Melissa Rivers wristwatch created by Melissa Rivers and gifted to her mother, the legendary comedian and television icon Joan Rivers. Coming from Joan Rivers’ estate, this watch represents a personal gesture and has ownership by both Melissa and her mom. Joan Rivers was one of the most consequential figures in American entertainment. A trailblazing stand-up comedian, Emmy Award–winning television host, best-selling author, and relentless cultural commentator, she reshaped comedy by refusing to temper her voice or ambition. From her early breakthroughs on The Tonight Show through decades of stand-up, television, books, and live performance, Rivers sustained a career that spanned more than fifty years - an achievement nearly without parallel. In the later phase of her career, Joan Rivers experienced a second cultural peak through fashion commentary and red-carpet television, often appearing publicly alongside her daughter Melissa Rivers. Together, they formed one of entertainment’s most recognizable mother–daughter duos, hosting red carpets, moderating panels, and appearing jointly in fashion and media coverage. Their on-camera dynamic - affectionate, sharp, and unscripted - offered audiences a rare glimpse into a genuine working family relationship at the center of pop culture. This watch belongs squarely within that context. Melissa is also the author of Red Carpet Ready: Secrets for Making the Most of Any Event You Attend, a candid guide drawn from decades navigating Hollywood’s most visible stages. Following the passing of her mother, Melissa Rivers assumed stewardship of one of the most influential legacies in American comedy, serving as executive producer on Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work and Joan Rivers: A Dead Funny All-Star Tribute, both praised for their restraint, honesty, and emotional intelligence.   This watch: Signed simply “MR” on the dial, the watch showcases a Melissa Rivers watch creation. The white oval dial is set within a curved rectangular sterling silver case, creating a jewelry-forward design that feels intentional rather than trend-driven. Bold black Roman numerals, slender elegant hands, and the discreet “Quartz” designation complete a layout that favors clarity and classical balance. The case is bright, smoothly polished sterling silver with softly rounded edges and integrated lugs. Turning the watch over reveals a boldly engraved caseback reading “Melissa Rivers – The Sterling Connection,” accompanied by additional markings confirming a sterling silver case, stainless steel back, Japanese quartz movement, and caliber V377. It shows minimal evidence of wear, consistent with careful preservation rather than regular use. The original sticker is still in place. We have not done anything to the outside of it - we left it just as we acquired it. On the inside, one of our Master Watchmakers has installed a new battery making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Our's Renowned Celebrity Collection: This watch is part of our Celebrity Collection of watches that has been featured in GQ, Revolution Watch, Europa Star, JCK, Hampton's Magazine, Gotham Magazine, Vegas Magazine, Silicon Valley magazine and many others. eBay just recently partnered with us for an exclusive, special sale for seven of the watches. The collection has been composed of 110 watches and clocks owned or worn by 57 iconic celebrities and public figures. It may be the largest current collection of celebrity-owned watches in the world. It is constantly changing and is currently headlined by timepieces owned by some of the most legendary Hollywood actors and actresses, musicians, comedians, and entertainers: The King, Elvis Presley. (Just sold) The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. (Just sold) The King of Comedy, Jerry Lewis. The Artist Formerly Known as Prince. (Just sold) Hollywood icons Steve Martin, Red Skelton, Martin Sheen, Burt Reynolds, Laurence Olivier, James Arness, Steve McQueen, Betty White, Olivia Newton-John, Bob Hope, Greta Garbo, Raquel Welch, Mickey Rooney, Jane Fonda, and Joan and Melissa Rivers. Legendary musicians Johnny Cash, Frank and Nancy Sinatra, Janet Jackson, Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, Kenny Rogers, Harry Belafonte, ZZ Top's Dusty Hill, Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie, Don Mclean, Mountain's Leslie West, and Hank Williams, Jr. Sports great and soccer legend Pelé, heavyweight boxing champion Jack Dempsey, Yankee Hall of Fame great Lefty Gomez, World Cup winning captain and soccer defensive legend Daniel Passarella, and Green Bay Packer Mike Bucchianeri along with the game ball, signed photo and watch from the college football "all star" Blue Gray Game in 1940. Further filling the current collection are watches or clocks from King Edward VIII and the Duchess of Windsor, beloved Hollywood host Ed Sullivan, renowned illusionists Siegfried & Roy, Academy award-winning actresses Loretta Young and Doris Day, Emmy award-winning actress Valerie Harper, Golden Globe winning actor Richard Chamberlain, Emmy award-winning journalist Larry King, Phyllis McGuire of the chart-topping McGuire sisters, Ian McDonald multi-instrumentalist English rocker for King Crimson and Foreigner, Elvira Mistress of the Dark (Cassandra Peterson), fashion designer to the stars Nolan Miller, the watch worn by Sean Penn in Shanghai Surprise then owned by Beatle George Harrison, and a watch worn by multiple characters in the television series "For All Mankind." It also includes rare watches given by heads of state: A prototype 18K gold Buren Microrotor gifted by His Royal Majesty Ibn Saud, former King of Saudi Arabia; a Felsa given by former Libyan Colonel and Head of State Muammar Al Qathafi; a Longines given by Highness Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa former Prime Minister of the State of Bahrain; a Baume & Mercier gifted by the King of Jordan. All three watches are new-old-stock in presentation shadow box frames with photos. Recently sold was a watch given a handful of years after the Civil War concluded by the Vice President Elect to honor an Army commander who went on to receive the Medal of Honor. This is a significant, exciting, and constantly changing new collection you won't want to miss! Stay tuned over the coming weeks for photos of other special pieces from the collection! 1967 TUDOR (Rolex) PRINCE OYSTERDATE Vintage Mens Ref. 7966 Watch - 18K Gold Rolex Case, Crown & Bracelet - Original Condition - 1 Year Warranty More and more collectors are becoming acquainted with watches from Rolex's Tudor brand, creations which have become increasingly more collectible. Watches in the Tudor line, apart from the fact that they utilize ebauche movements, are similar to those of Rolex in design and construction. When Rolex launched the Tudor brand in 1945, they strongly intended that the public perception of its quality had to equal that of Rolex. To achieve this lofty aim, until the mid-1990's, Tudor watches featured Rolex cases and crowns, and, until 1971, Rolex bracelets. An advertisement in Britain's Horological Journal in vintage times stated that Tudor's were, "Manufactured under strict Rolex supervision and bear the Rolex label of guarantee." Today's offering showcases this Pre-Owned Tudor Prince Oysterdate ref. 7966 in uncommon 18K gold. In the vintage era, 18K gold Tudors occupy a uniquely uncommon position, particularly when the model in question is not a formal dress watch but a robust, Oyster-cased sports reference such as the Tudor Prince Oysterdate. Tudor was conceived as Rolex’s tool-watch counterpart—engineered for durability, value, and everyday wear—so the overwhelming majority of Prince Oysterdate production was executed in steel or steel-and-gold. Solid 18K cases ran counter to the brand’s practical ethos and were produced only in very small numbers, often for specific markets, like certain parts of Europe and Asia or special retailer driven commissions. Tudor did not actively promote solid-gold sports Oysters the way Rolex did with Day-Dates or gold Submariners decades later. As a result, surviving examples represent an unusual convergence of Tudor’s purposeful DNA with the material language of haute horology: the reassuring weight and warmth of solid gold paired with a case design originally intended for daily, active use. This tension—luxury metal wrapped around a watch meant to be worn, not protected—gives 18K non-dress Tudors a quiet rarity and a character that feels far more intentional and historically revealing than a conventional gold dress watch. Patterned after the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date, one of the company's staple models, it is thinner and of course a bit more affordable than its Rolex sibling. However, it has two more desirable features than its Rolex siblin - it is thinner and a bit more affordable than its Rolex sibling and shares the same diameter. It also has a semi quick-setting date, something that its more expensive sibling didn't even have. And interestingly, the fact this Tudor is 18K gold makes it far rarer than an 18K Rolex Oyster...

We’re new to offering our carefully curated collection on 1stDibs, but we have sold over 10,000 fine watches and exceptionally served thousands of customers with a 5.0 star rating. 1969 OMEGA DYNAMIC Vintage Mens First Generation Watch - 18K Gold Plated & Stainless Beautiful Original Condition - Interesting & Distinctive - 1 Year Warranty Created in 1967 by Omega's sales director Robert Forster, the Dynamic is an iconic example of a true retro style. The clean and functional watch, a considerable success for Omega, possessed a number of designed elements that made it stand out: * An ellipse shape with recessed crown determined to be the best geometric shape for the wrist, determined after extensive study * Unicoc case with hermetically sealed crystal water-resistant to a depth of 30m. * Available with a stainless steel bracelet or easily interchangeable water-resistant Cor-fam straps According to an Omega advertisement at the time, "The shape of the Omega Dynamic was determined by the anatomy of your wrist; its dial by the workings of your eyes; it strap by the physiology of your skin." Today's offering showcases this first generation Dynamic in our beautiful original condition. The first generation of the watch lasted only from 1968 until 1970. It has an awesome two-tone sector dial with champagne tones. As one of the early Dynamics, before Omega switched to using the 1000 series movements for the line, it is powered by Omega's high-grade caliber 563/565. One of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs, it was at the top-tier of the 500 series. It has a quick-setting date and is arguably the finest mass-produced automatic movement from era. It is all-original and presents in beautiful condition - about as honest as they come. Its case has never been polished - it presents as just short of mint with a few light hairlines. Its fabulous two-tone Omega sector dial...

1918 Longines for Tiffany & Co. Caliber 13.33 Mens Single Button World War I Military Chronograph Watch - Sterling Silver World's First Chronograph Wristwatch - A True Legend - Original - 1 Year Warranty Today's showcases this very collectable and rare caliber 13.33 late World War I era chronograph. First developed in 1913, like many chronograph pocket watches, the 13.33 relies on a single pusher to start, start and reset the chronograph. Invoiced by Longines on October 19th, 1918 to the A. Wittnauer Company, it was retailed through Tiffany & Co. significantly adding to its desirability. While some of the dials for these watches contained colorful scales, the so-called "military style" dial on this very early example is much more utilitarian and uncluttered and goes along well with the watch's trench style design. It's easy to read large numerals and luminous cathedral hands gave it a natural suitability for military uses, particularly important at the time this watch was produced. It is in pleasing original condition down to the all of the register hands and has matching serial and case numbers. The dual signed sterling silver case - signed with the traditional Longines signature and also stamped Tiffany & Co., is in honest condition Its clean dial is in excellent condition with one discretely touched up small spot by 11. Two of our Master Watchmakers worked for the last year and half years restoring the movement of this special watch to breathe new life into the chronograph which works well (restoration value $2195). Photos of the beautifully finished movement available upon request (you should ask for one!) It is keeping very accurate time. For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new Hirsch leather strap designed for fixed lugs use and a vintage Longines buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment. Also accompanying it are inner and outer vintage Longines boxes. If you're familiar with modern Longines, the Longines Column-Wheel Single Push-Piece Chronograph 180th Anniversary Limited Edition was specially designed to mark the brand’s 180th anniversary's and is closely based on the original 13.33 watches. In my opinion the 13.33 is not yet fully appreciated and still a bit under priced, and I would not be surprised to see it continue to increase in value closer to that of the 13ZN. Longines 13.33 chronograph: During Longines' golden era from the 1910's to the 1940's, while the idea of flight grew from the margins into a practical and valuable endeavor, the company's wristwatches earned a reputation as the constant cockpit companions of pioneering aviators. One of the significant characteristics of the chronograph models of these watches were that they featured an "in house" Longines movement fully designed and built by Longines. Very few of even the top chronograph watches use "in-house" produced caliber; iconic movements that power distinguished watches like the Rolex Daytona, Gallet Multichron 12, or even the exceedingly rare Patek Philippe 1518...
