Sculptural pair of Mid-Century Modern Adrian Pearsall Mom & Pop lounge chairs newly reupholstered in highly durable soft ivory white bouclé fabric circa 1960. High art design that's welcoming and beckons you to come closer for a better look, followed by the urge to run your hands over the enticing super soft curly bouclé fabric. Yum. Let's cozy up in style. The fabric is textured and breathable. Works great in both warm and cool climates. Sculptural designer furniture that immediately elevates a space's decor with a high art look. Pop Chair features a tall seat back and suspended head cushion. The head cushion cleverly hangs over the top of the seat back and is kept in place by two weighted upholstered tassels that drape. The design makes it simple to adjust the head cushion to your desired just right position. Tufted chubby lumbar cushion. Comfortable seat and curved lower chair front for tucking your feet. Vintage 1950s Federal Glass "Happy Daze" Frosted Tumbler Set with Original Box

Vintage 1950s Federal Glass "Happy Daze" Frosted Tumbler Set with Original Box

By Federal Glass

Located in St. Louis, MO

A delightfully nostalgic example of mid-century American barware, this complete eight-piece "Happy Daze" beverage tumbler set was manufactured by the renowned Federal Glass Company (Columbus, Ohio). As beautifully documented in photos, this rare survivor includes eight "Tall Boy" highball glasses alongside their original, illustrated cardboard presentation box. Glass dims are 6.88" h x 2.5" d. Each tumbler is crafted from heavy-gauge glass with a frosted finish, providing the perfect canvas for the multi-colored, wrap-around lithographic illustrations. The graphics depict a series of whimsical, mid-century cartoon vignettes set on a tropical island paradise—featuring stylized palm trees, islanders, giraffes, and shipwrecked castaways in a playful, narrative sequence. The graphics remain remarkably vibrant, rendered in a classic retro color palette of hunter green, cocoa brown, mustard yellow, and red.a stylized letter "F" inside a shield—stamped on the bottom. The set is 100% complete and in excellent vintage condition. The eight frosted glasses are entirely free of chips, cracks, or heavy clouding, with the lithographic designs remaining crisp and intact. The original storage box shows minor, honest age-appropriate wear, including light edge scuffing and superficial surface toning as expected for an authentic 1950s cardboard object, adding to its immense charm as a collector's piece. Keywords: It features frosted, satin-finish tall tumblers (often called "Tall Boys" or Tom Collins glasses) that hold about 13 oz and depict humorous, cartoonish "caveman" and tropical beach scenes. Tiki / Tiki Bar Culture: The ultimate classification for this set. Mid-century Tiki pop-culture exploded in the 1950s, making tropical-themed barware like this highly collectible. Caveman / Cavewoman. Mid-Century Modern Barware: The broad, evergreen category for high-quality post-war glassware. Retro Americana / Kitsch: Celebrates the playful, humorous, and sometimes campy design aesthetic of 1950s home entertaining. Materials & Finish: Frosted Glassware, Satin Glass, Blown Glass, Lithographed Enamel, Silk-Screened Tumblers, Colorful Graphics. Form & Function: Tall Boy Glasses, Highball Tumblers, Zombie Glasses...

Rare 1970s Vintage Howard Miller MCM Floating Lucite Wall Clock - Roman Numerals

By Howard Miller, George Nelson

Located in St. Louis, MO

This exceptionally rare vintage wall clock by the celebrated Howard Miller Clock Company is a phenomenal example of high-end Postmodern design. The clock features a unique, minimalist frame composed of a heavy-gauge clear Lucite (acrylic) C-shaped band. This outer ring is intentionally separated at the top and bottom, creating a striking architectural gap that frames the piece. Suspended inside the clear casing by small pins is an elegant, translucent inner dial fashioned from premium peach/copper-tinted acrylic. Rather than sitting on a surface, the clock is engineered to hang directly from its central black quartz movement housing, allowing the open Lucite frame to float weightlessly against the wall. In a bold design twist, the dial is printed with oversized, crisp white Roman numerals that appear to float mid-air, paired with sleek white hour and minute hands and a vibrant red sweeping second hand. Driven by a precision battery-operated quartz movement, this sculptural timekeeper beautifully bridges the gap between Space Age materials and 1980s Postmodern aesthetics. Can't find another example out there.
