"FLOR II" is a large, unstretched mixed media painting on canvas with acrylic paint and reflective glitter, brightly colored with a central violet rose surrounded by a field of organic vegetation. Buyer can choose to mount the canvas directly to the wall with a narrow wooden support along the top edge of the canvas, or back the canvas with a substate panel and frame with a floater frame. It is signed on the back with title, dimensions, and date.
Henry Bermudez is a seasoned American contemporary artist born in Venezuela. Emerged from the Caribbean tropics, his artistic life has been an unexpected hybrid of ideas informed by an acute sensitivity to the past, stenciled as part of a personal inventory onto different foreign places that throughout his life have become his home and his artistic working territory.
"My paintings are steeped in mythical dream imagery within an otherworldliness of carefully constructed creature and plant forms. Further defined by my identity as a Latino, my work combines symbols and myth from ancient pre-Hispanic cultures with the iconography of contemporary art. Sheila Elias (born in Chicago, Illinois) is an American artist. Her work is Neo Expressionist, Feminist Pop Art. Her works have been featured in exhibitions across North America and at the Liberty show at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
Elias graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago, lives and works in Miami, Florida and in New York City. As an artist and art historian, Elias works with the layers of life and art history, seeking in it a connection between art aesthetics and social consciousness. She has exhibited with diverse artists, Larry Rivers, Bob Stanley, Ford Crull, Sol LeWitt, Mark Tobey, Walter Darby Bannard, Clyde Butcher. Her work spans the disciplines of painting, digital mixed media, sculpture, installation and performance.
Her inspiration to be an artist began with the work that Matisse created (La Cirque) in the library of the Art Institute of Chicago. Paul Wieghardt (from the Bauhaus School in Germany), was her art teacher at SAIC. She was influenced by the Marisol, Claes Oldenburg and Jean Dubuffet. Her sculptures also reveal the influence of Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg.

Lélia Pissarro was born in Paris in 1963 and is the third and youngest child of the artist Hugues-Claude Pissarro and Katia Pissarro, an art dealer.
From infancy until the age of eleven, she was entrusted into the care of her grandparents, Paulémile Pissarro and his wife, Yvonne, in Clécy, Normandy. Lélia’s Grandfather nurtured her interest in drawing and painting, teaching her the fundamental Impressionist and Post-Impressionist techniques he had learned from his father and his brothers. Lélia sold her first painting to Wally Findlay, a New York art dealer, when she was only four years of age.
Lélia returned to Paris to live with her parents, and it was then that she had her first exhibition at the Salon de la Jeune Peinture. Later on, Lélia was also taught by her father Hugues-Claude and practised drawing on a daily basis. At fifteen, Lélia participated in an exhibition at the Luxembourg Museum in Paris. A year later, she enrolled at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Tours.
With her parents dividing their time between France and California, Lélia found herself moving between Tours, Paris and San Francisco. Whilst in Paris, Lélia taught art at the Moria School and studied oil painting restoration...
