Pals - Two Bicycles Abstract Geometric Mixed Media Painting on Wood

By Rebecca Klundt

Located in Los Angeles, CA

Rebecca Klundt’s "Pals" uncovers the unique beauty of original paintings, geometric abstractions, and textural mixed-media art. This 32-inch high by 25-inch wide artwork transforms reclaimed wood into a stunning assemblage finished with layers of acrylic paint, highlighting Klundt's commitment to sustainability and creative renewal. Perfect for lovers of eco-friendly art and modern textural compositions, "Pals" features a playful yet sophisticated design of figures composed of bold lines and shapes against a distressed wood-texture background. Klundt’s use of found materials and geometric patterns creates a sense of harmony and order, while the vibrant accents of orange and teal bring dynamic energy to this visually captivating piece. Key Features: > Mixed-Media Assemblage: Crafted from reclaimed wood and layered with acrylic paint, resulting in a textured, geometric composition. > Compact Statement Size: At 32 x 25 inches, this original artwork is ideal for adding a unique touch to smaller spaces or as part of a gallery wall. > Eco-Friendly Art: Made with sustainable materials, reflecting Klundt’s passion for repurposing and renewal. > Ready to Hang: Mounted on a sturdy wood panel, wired, and painted on the sides, eliminating the need for additional framing. > Authenticity Guaranteed: Signed on the back by Rebecca Klundt, with a certificate of authenticity included. About the Artist: Rebecca Klundt, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, holds a BFA from Brigham Young University and is widely recognized for her innovative use of reclaimed materials in art. Inspired by the natural world and the process of transformation, Klundt creates abstract works that explore themes of renewal, order, and the beauty of lines. Her artistic philosophy embraces using "the unusable" and turning discarded materials into thoughtful, organized compositions. Drawing from the textures and fissures of Utah’s slick rock formations, Klundt’s works are a testament to her love of significant lines and her ability to imbue each piece with a sense of natural balance and human ingenuity. Why "Pals" Stands Out: Rebecca Klundt’s "Pals" is a perfect example of her ability to merge sustainability with contemporary art. Its playful geometric forms and eco-conscious construction make it an ideal addition for collectors seeking modern, textural art that tells a story of creativity and renewal. "Pals", a one-of-a-kind original mixed-media painting by Rebecca Klundt adds sustainable elegance to any home or office space. This unique, eco-friendly artwork celebrates the beauty of reclaimed materials and modern abstraction. Klundt's artworks have been exhibited in Utah and California and have been collected throughout the USA. Fairfax - Figurative Surrealist Portrait Landscape Paintings on Exposed Wood

By Eddy Lee

Located in Los Angeles, CA

Eddy Lee’s figurative surrealist portrait paintings on exposed wood depict emotive sirens who evoke a sense of mystery and seductiveness. His original artworks combine geometric elements with innocent women portraits seeking to trigger emotions, rather than communicating specific explanations. He reconciles the unconscious with rational life, exploring the power of dreams, embracing automatism, and freeing his subjects from the constraints of conscious thought. This colorful, intriguing portrait is painted with acrylic and gouache on a hand-built cradled wood panel. This one-of-a-kind original artwork is 48 inches high by 36 inches wide and is signed by the artist on the back. It is wired and ready to hang. It does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included with this unique work. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Eddy Lee relocated to Los Angeles in late 2012 to pursue a full-time career as a fine artist. He started his career on the Venice Beach Boardwalk and quickly gained a large following across the United States with exhibitions in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. The artist’s work is inspired by the works of Audrey Kawasaki...

Future Shadow
Future Shadow

Future Shadow

By Todd Carpenter 1

Located in San Diego, CA

"Future Shadow" is of a scene in the woods. This scene is of no particular place, but rather his interpretation and compilation of various places he has visited. As a painter, I examine how the depiction of light contributes to our experience of paintings. The portrayal of light helps a painting to convey the atmosphere and mood of a scene, and is much of what enables a painting to convey depth and realism. Our perception of lighting features occurs largely through pathways in the brain that carry only black and white information, pathways which are distinct from areas that encode the colors and details we use to delineate specific objects. By painting in grayscale, I try to interact specifically with this region of our visual system, with the hope of conveying some of the spaciousness and emotional significance that light can imbue on scenes. Light, whether as the crisp contrast of a back-lit forest or the gray haze of an industrial landscape, is what defines a scene. Its power to communicate the feel of a place is the principle subject of my paintings. The Blue Azul Collection...

Boat Tartanes, Calm of the Evening, Oil on Wood, Mid-20th Century, Unframed

By Elie Bernadac

Located in Genève, GE

Beautiful oil on panel signed by the French painter Elie Bernadac, depicting elegant Mediterranean tartanes peacefully moored at dusk. The work is further authenticated by the artist’s original studio label on the reverse, inscribed “Tartanes – Calme du soir” and bearing the artist’s address in Nice. This luminous composition perfectly captures the tranquil atmosphere of a southern harbor at evening time. The tall sails, rendered with expressive palette knife and brushwork, create a rhythmic vertical structure reflected delicately in the still water below. Bernadac employs a refined palette of muted blues, soft greens, warm ochres, and touches of coral red, evoking both the fading light of sunset and the quiet poetry of maritime life. The painting demonstrates strong affinities with mid-20th century French Mediterranean painting and modern Post-Impressionist marine art. The textured surface and fluid handling of light lend the composition remarkable movement and atmospheric depth. An elegant and highly decorative work, ideal for collectors of: * French Riviera paintings...
