Please note that prices increase as editions sell. Zack Seckler's series, “Botswana,” is comprised of a series of exquisite aerial photographs taken in the Kalahari basin in south central Africa between 2009 and 2010. The body of work offers a quite different and almost magical view of the much-photographed and iconic landscape. In order to be able to capture these breathtaking images, Seckler enlisted the services of an expert pilot who flew a small, ultra-lightweight aircraft at low altitudes under 500 feet. Zack Seckler was born in Boston, and studied psychology at Syracuse University. Then, traveling solo with a point-and-shoot camera in northern India, his mind opened to the visual world. Upon returning to Syracuse, he took coursework in photography at the renowned Newhouse School. With an internship in a Hong Kong photo...

Dream Deck, The Dream Art Project
Located in New York, NY
The photograph is available in three sizes. The print is proposed as a face-mount; it is mounted to acrylic at the front and Dibond at the back. It is ready to hang with a metal bracket on the wall. In "Dream Deck," Anne Valverde presents a twilight meditation where the art of photography meets the tangible touch of installation. Valverde personally selects and places neon text, a radiant declaration of 'dreams,' onto a tranquil lakeside pier. This glowing script becomes the focal point, blurring the line between the environment and the message it carries. With an artist’s eye for the profound symbiosis between word and world, Valverde chooses the placement and font of the neon text to complement the natural serenity of the dusk-lit waters. The radiant blue of the evening sky mingles with the reflective surface of the lake, creating a seamless blend of color and calm, while the neon installation offers a striking visual contrast — a bridge between the viewer’s reality and the infinite potential of the dream world. The artistry of "Dream Deck" lies in its invitation to pause and ponder, prompted by the glowing invitation to dream, suspended just above the water’s surface. Valverde’s photograph is a carefully orchestrated composition that speaks to the dreamer within, suggesting that within the stillness of nature’s embrace, there is space to dream out loud. This piece is more than a snapshot of a place; it is a deliberate performance of light and typography, a narrative captured in a single, still moment that encourages the viewer to engage with the fluid boundaries of dreams. Since 2015, Valverde has been working on a neon light installation project in several countries, which she materialises through photography. The DREAM ART PROJECT Her portfolio “City Icons” in 2008 brought her work to public attention. A series about Iconic Monuments from Major cities like Paris, New York, Hong Kong, London, Dubaï… Writing with Neon brings together two passions for Anne Valverde: light and words thus incorporating her main medium of expression: Photography. Valverde brings artificial light to areas where electricity is absent, creating a dissonance in the landscape and an unexpected and dreamlike light, creating a new message, independent from preexisting signs and words. Valverde’s first message is "dream", as she invites the viewer to go past reality and reflect on open spaces for escape in a complex and tormented world. Some themes are recurring: an amused gaze on social media omnipresence, hyper-connectivity or even office language shortcuts. This contemplation of the natural landscape suddenly opens up to a perspective on social evolution. By inserting neon lights in her photographs, she initiates a return...

Sarakiniko No.3 Milos (Limited Edition of 25) - The Sea Photography
Located in New York, NY
This image captured in 2017 by New York photographer Christopher Petsos features the Sarakiniko beach in Milos, Greece, one of the most beautiful “moonscape” beaches in the world. This beach is known for being the most photographed attraction in the Aegean Sea. Due to its picturesque beauty, it's become an Instagram darling. Christopher Petsos is a New York City based photographer and artist. He is known for capturing Light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm. Petsos believes that we see things through a filter of the self, a camera records the physical details of a scene, but our human eyes and sub-conscious self, are the interpreters that complete our view of reality. In his own words: “Throughout the process, I stay faithful to the underlying truth of the scene. My work inhabits the space between literal depiction and my emotional Impression of the moment. The result is hyper-reality: facts imbued with feeling.” In this image, Christopher Petsos stands true to his words and brilliantly captures the light, pattern, texture, color and motion across the urban realm and painted it in his own colors to give the viewer a new perspective. Limited Numbered Edition of this iconic print on fine art archival pigment paper and signed by Christopher Petsos are available in the sizes below. We ship world-wide and shipping is free. Moon Landing, Dead Sea, Israel, 2019
By Dinesh Boaz
Located in Hudson, NY
The Robin Rice Gallery is pleased to present At 1000 Feet, a photographic exhibition by Dinesh Boaz. The opening reception will be held on Wednesday, November 6th from 6pm to 8pm. The show will run through January 5, 2020. At 1000 Feet is Boaz’s first solo exhibition at the Robin Rice Gallery. As a photographer, Boaz defies a traditional approach to perspective and instead situates himself quite literally in the sky above. The resulting work is breathtaking and arresting. Each image captured by Boaz offers his audiences a rare composition of both nature and civilization in all their complexity. Originally a recording studio owner and music producer in New York City, Boaz became an avid aerial photographer almost entirely by accident after he won a “doors off” helicopter ride over Manhattan that opened his eyes to a new realm of experience. The oddity of what he saw sparked a deep fascination that led Boaz to return again and again to the cramped cockpits of such helicopters until he found in them a studio at 1000 feet above. Flying well away from the world below, Boaz holds an eye in the sky. With it, he surveys terrain and develops concepts in real time as colors and textures flood into sight during each ride. Working under the throbbing sounds of the propellers overhead, Boaz directs the pilot over radio and creates spontaneous images of calm amidst chaos. In speaking of his method, he explains, “I seek out sound in my photos; I look to find those symbiotic patterns and fast-changing colors that play together in rhythm, similar to the layers that make up a beat.” Through this unique process, Boaz discovers a synesthetic harmony in each photograph just as he would if he was visualizing music on a track. As a result, the 13 large-format dye sublimation prints of Hawaii, Israel, Arizona, California and Key West in this exhibition hold a lingering tranquility as they flow throughout the gallery. The exhibition’s invitational image “Desert Isle” shows the tides of an emerald green ocean washing over sunbeam yellow sands to form a vibrant ripple green that coalesces into an S-shaped coastline where distant row boats and sunbathers appear like ants. His visionary approach to expanding how audiences see the everyday is reminiscent of Andreas Gursky who did the same in Rhine II (1999) which captured the magnificence of the Rhine River with virtuoso ease. Gifted with a sight of the world top down, Boaz’s aerial photography evokes a cosmic awareness of humanity as a tiny dot in the universe which borders on the surreal. He credits his influences to be Joan Miro, Christopher Nolan, Andreas Gursky, Annie Leibowitz and Edward Burtynsky. Born in India with deep roots in Sri Lanka, Boaz moved from Chennai to the United States. He studied Psychology at Rutgers University, but it was there that he also took his first photography class. After graduation, he ran a successful recording studio in Soho. Then, as he returned to photography, he took multiple courses including digital printmaking at the International Center of Photography. In May 2019, Boaz was announced as the winner of the National Geographic Adventure photography contest for his piece “All The People”. Landscape, Ocean, Water, Sea, Color, Aerial, Israel, Dead Sea...
