Antique Sporting Prints

This is a large vintage book, The Story of British Sporting Prints by Captain Frank Siltzer. An English, hard bound reference book of engravings, dated to 1929.

Such prints were highly prized by horse owners, breeders, trainers, and sporting enthusiasts during the nineteenth century.

Offered is an antique sporting print engraved by Debucourt after the painting by Carle Vernet.
