Set of Mid-Century Modern French Ceramic bowls by Albert Thiry, 1960s, era Blin Five beautiful glazed ceramic bowls with an engraved and hand-painted red thistle flower. We find the vocabulary of preference of the ceramist: a chalky white background enhanced by a green glaze, both bright and neutral to highlight the red flower and on the smaller pieces, the edge engraved with decorative motifs. The price is for the whole set. In very good condition. All the ceramics are signed under the base. Circa 1960. Centerpiece bowl: 23cm x 13cm Smaller bowls: 14cm x 5cm ----------- Albert Thiry (1923-2009) Ceramist from Nice, he studied at the School of Decorative Arts in the city.
