Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, all frames have been cleaned with soap & are in good stable condition but do have some nicks, scratches, & dings to the frame finish. The straps have some yellowing from sun exposure, lotions, & use. Also, when the chairs are stacked the vinyl straps stretch but when un-stacked the straps return to their original form. After spending days trying researching our set of Rattan Furniture, the Ficks Reed Company of Los Angeles is our hypothesis and even then, we cannot be 100% positive. The Rattan frames were typically made in Indonesia and the upholstery was installed in the states. Our three-piece suite of Rattan, incorporating the Rattan Sofa, matching Rattan Chair and Coffee Table were made around 1960 and after over 60-years of use the rattan Sofa still retains its original fabric covering. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the Single Rattan Chair...
