Each candlestick consists of a body with a sculptural group in patinated bronze inspired by the famous bronzes of the master. The base is circular, in gilt bronze finely chiselled with geometric decoration and foliate motifs near the four feet, of feline shape. From the sculptural groups depart two graceful arms in gilded and chiselled bronze, composed of ramage and phytomorphic elements that culminate in the two candle holders. A magnificent, fine and impressive, rare pair of antique Danish sterling silver two light Pomegranate pattern candelabra made by Georg Jensen; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection These magnificent and rare antique Danish cast sterling silver candelabra have a circular bulbous form, in the Pomegranate pattern. The surface of each exceptional example of antique silverware has a subtly planished finish. Each impressive two light candelabrum retains the original hallmarked scrolling arms, supporting two rounded organic-shaped baluster capitals with plain circular dished drip pans. The scrolling arms of each candelabra incorporate magnificent scrolling leaf and bead decoration, all in the Arts and Crafts style. The plain bulbous columns surmount a plain circular foot, accented with a petal decorated border to the junction. The bases of these magnificent cast candelabra are not weighted.
