Presented is an original Benjamin Harrison presidential peace medal. This bronze medal was originally struck by the U.S. Mint in 1889 as a peace offering to the various Native American tribes in the U.S. The obverse of the medal has a raised relief side profile bust of President Harrison, with the text "Benjamin Harrison President U.S.A. 1889". The reverse of the medal has the word "PEACE" at top, with a scene of a settler and Native American talking in front of a log cabin. Below, a crossed tomahawk and peace pipe are enclosed by a wreath of laurel leaves. The medal is displayed on a blue velvet presentation collar with gold striped edging and light purple fabric on the reverse. The medal is attached under a blue fabric covered button.

A fine Antique 19th century cast gilt bronze statue of the medieval French King Louis VII of France, circa 1880.
King Louis VII (1120–1180) was the King of France from 1137 until his death and was famous for his role in the crusades. The statue is very finely cast and depicts Kind Louis VII wearing his crown and medieval armor decorated with Fleur de Lis and his coat of arms with a coronet, his swork hanging by his side. The figure is resting on a ruin of a gothic arch niche with a Knight templar standing with his sword, to the right on the ground is the kings shield featuring a cross and resting on his battleaxe.
The statue is raised on a black marble plinth, condition is excellent, the quality of the casting & gilding is of the finest quality and done by the lost wax method (or Cire Perdue in French)

About Tomb of Pope Clement XIII
The artwork, titled “Tomb of Pope Clement XIII,” is a sculpture created by Antonio Canova in 1792. Belonging to the Neoclassicism art movement, this masterpiece exemplifies the genre of sculpture.
In the artwork, Canova masterfully arranges various sculptural elements to create a poignant and regal composition. The tomb consists of a carved effigy of Pope Clement XIII, situated in a reverent pose atop an elaborately adorned sarcophagus. The Pope’s figure is cloaked in flowing garments, kneeling in prayer, signifying his piety. Below, two imposing lions flank the monument, symbolizing strength and vigilance. An angelic figure, wings partially spread, gazes downwards with a sorrowful expression, embodying the eternal mourning for the departed. Later in life the Canova Lions were replicated, they are located in front of the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C, these were cast in bronze from molds of the originals. The pieces were installed in 1860
