This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver goblet has a circular bell shaped form onto a knopped stem and circular spreading foot. The body of this large silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved suspended leaf festoons accented with ribbon bow motifs and interlacing swags. The decoration to the body incorporates a large oval vacant cartouche to either side. The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved interlacing and scalloped borders below an applied moulded rim. The knop to the stem is encircled with a bead decorated border. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified leaf festoon decoration accented with a scalloped border to the rim. Featuring a Coat of Arms From our Decanter collection, we are pleased to offer this pair of Scottish Glass Magnum Sized Decanters. The decanters of square form with canted corners featuring a quilted pattern to each face except the front which is engraved with a coat of arms with the words Aye Courage and writing reading Richard Comyns of Ludston. The decanters are complete with cut glass blown ball-shaped stoppers with a matching pattern. The Magnum Decanters date to the turn of the 21st century circa 2000.
