An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver cup & cover; an addition to our antique presentation silverware collection. This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver presentation cup & cover has a campania shaped form onto a circular spreading pedestal foot. The lower bulbous portion of body is encircled with chased fluted ornamentation. Either side of the plain upper portion of the body of this cup is embellished with an exceptional and large applied ribbon tied laurel branch wreath, replicating the border of a Classic cartouche. This impressive presentation cup retains the original hallmarked cover surmounted with an exceptional, Fine and impressive sterling silver overlapping leaf, bead and bud style finial. The rim of the cover is encompassed with an impressive applied egg and dart decorated border. This antique cup and cover is fitted with two very impressive handles modelled in the form of conjoined snakes, above a figural mask and Caduceus*. The pedestal is encompassed with a shaped leaf decorated knop to the upper portion in junction with the body. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George III English sterling silver sauce tureens with ladles, in the Adams style; an addition to our Georgian silverware collection. These exceptional antique George III sterling silver sauce tureens have a plain oval shaped form onto a plain oval spreading pedestal foot to a collet rim, in the classic English Adam style. The body of each tureen is plain and embellished with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest of a demi-lion rampant, holding between the paws a lozenge. The rim and foot of each antique tureen is encompassed with applied reed decorated borders. These impressive sterling silver tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit covers surmounted with Adams style urn shaped finials. An exceptional, fine and impressive set of twelve antique Georgian sterling silver Hanoverian pattern table forks; an addition to our Georgian flatware collections. These exceptional antique Georgian straight* sterling silver forks have been crafted in the Hanoverian pattern with three tines. The posterior surface of each antique silver fork handle terminal incorporates the bright cut engraved crest of out of a coronet a griffin's head, all above the monogram initial 'W'. The anterior surface of each 18th century fork is plain with a pip to the handle terminal. Such straight examples of antique silver forks with clearly struck hallmarks are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. * 'Straight' means all the pieces are made by the same maker in the same year. Condition These antique sterling silver forks are an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition. Full hallmarks struck to the reverse of each handle stem are all very clear. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Georgian silver flatware...
