This exceptional antique George V sterling silver mustard pot has a plain spherical form to a broad spreading foot. The surface of this silver mustard pot has a planished finish, with an applied band to the upper portion. This fine Omar Ramsden silver mustard pot retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with a moulded thumbpiece. The foot of the mustard pot is embellished with an applied rope twist decorated border in junction with the body, in the classic Arts and Crafts style. This exceptional silver mustard pot was crafted by the collectable and renowned silversmith Omar Ramsden and bears the Latin engraving 'Omar Ramsden Me Fecit' - Omar Ramsden made me to the underside; mustard pots crafted by this renowned London maker are exceptionally rare. This impressive example of antique silverware is supplied with an associated hallmarked London sterling silver Fiddle pattern spoon. The anterior surface of each spoon handle terminal incorporates the contemporary engraved initial 'MAG'. The reverse of each 19th century spoon has a rounded heel and to a pip to the handle terminal. By virtue of their size these versatile silver spoons could be used for a multitude of functions, including: pickle, mustard/condiment, small coffee spoon. These exceptional and collectable spoons were crafted by the renowned London silversmith William Eaton. NOTE: * Such a spoon would have been carried by a tradesman as a sample size, demonstrating at a small scale the pattern and quality of spoon available for production by the workshop. This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver candle snuffer tray has a navette shaped form. The surface of this antique silver snuffer/pen tray is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a centaur regardant holding and arrow on a bended bow, above the bright cut engraved initials 'WIL'. The outer circumference of the surface is encompassed with an undulating wriggle work decorated border. The raised rounded sides of the tray are embellished with pierced decorated urn designs conjoined by suspended bright cut engraved festoon ornamentation further accented with undulating pin struck decoration. The tray is further embellished with an applied bead decorated border to the rim. Either end of the tray incorporates an impressive pierced and applied scrolling leaf decorated handle accented with a pendant drop design to the inner surface. This exceptional tray was crafted by the London silversmith William Plummer who is known for his work with pierced decoration. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Edwardian English sterling silver creamer in the Rococo style; an addition to our Edwardian silverware collection. This fine antique Edwardian sterling silver cream jug has a plain pear shaped form. The body of this silver cream jug is embellished with flat chased simplified leaf designs incorporating scrolling borders and scale motif panels, in the Rococo style. The decoration to the body incorporates an applied moulded border to the upper shaped rim and an impressive scrolling leaf design to the underside of the spout. The formation of this Edwardian piece reflects an early Georgian design and style often associated with the renowned silversmith Paul de Lamerie. This impressive example of Edwardian teaware is fitted with a cast and applied shaped scrolling handle with a predatory bird's head to the upper terminal and further leaf designs to the lower socket. The jug is supported by three impressive cast and applied ribbed feet with scrolling sockets in junction with the body. The underside of this sterling silver cream jug bears the retailer's mark 'Carrington & Co., London, 130 Regent St', in addition to the registration number '6940'.
