These exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver dish rings have a circular waisted form. The sterling silver body of each dish is embellished with impressive embossed and pierced scrolling foliate and floral decoration. The posterior surface of each piece is ornamented with an embossed scene depicting a man in period attire holding a staff; it can be determined this figure is a shepherd. The body of each piece features a shaped vacant cartouche, flanked with a resting sheep and structure design, all amidst the aforementioned foliate decoration.
