The chairs stack neatly, so all eight travel together on one pallet, which keeps shipping far more reasonable than sending them one by one. Why we love these chairs The S22 is one of the great Dutch school chairs. Galvanitas made them for schools, canteens, sports clubs and community halls, and they were built to be used every single day: a strong tubular steel frame with splayed, compass-style legs and a one-piece molded shell seat. That leg frame is why people call it the "pyramid chair". From the side you see a sharp triangle, from the front a clean A-shape, and with eight of them around a long table the rhythm of those legs looks fantastic. This is honest, functional Dutch design from a time when furniture had to last. Comfortable and practical The shell curves in the right places, so you sit well through a long dinner or a full working day. The legs are shaped to stack on top of each other and to hook together in a straight row, so the chairs are easy to store and perfect wherever you want flexible seating. Light enough to lift with one hand, strong enough for daily use in a busy home or a commercial space such as a restaurant, bar or school. Where they work Eight chairs around a long oak farmhouse table, a refectory table or a big white dining table. For hospitality this is a great starting set: restaurants, coffee bars, lunchrooms, office canteens, studios, shops and co-working spaces.
