Introducing Wulff, a lounge chair whose upholstered form pays tribute to the hand-crafted designs of the 1930's. First produced in a traditional Danish workshop in the first half of the 20th century by Cabinetmaker Jørgen Wolff, the Wulff lounge chair is a striking example of the ‘Danish Modern’ design movement. The intricacies of hand-made, small-scale production are readily apparent in its form: the boundary-pushing sculptural armrests, which join to an expansive, wing-shaped backrest, are underpinned by the finest craftsmanship. Reissued by &Tradition for modern audiences, the chair's timeless architectural shape adds a stylish statement to any interior. Wulff promises superior craftsmanship and outstanding comfort with luxuriantly soft upholstery that covers its seat and backrest. Intended as a lounge chair for the living room or bedroom, its architectural shape will add a stylish statement to any interior. Pouf: Based on the signature aesthetics of the sculptural Wulff lounge chair, the Wulff pouf is handcrafted with solid walnut legs. Whether you use it as a footrest for the Wulff chair...

Initially introduced back in 1938, Little Petra won instant praise at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition, subsequently winning awards at exhibits in New York and Berlin. It’s one of just a few designs by architect Viggo Boesen, who became associated with Denmark’s signature design aesthetic in the 1930s called funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly petite, able to fit into all kinds of spaces, interiors and environments. Low to the ground, open and embracing, it embodies the essence of a lounge chair, allowing for all kinds of seating positions in any cosy setting imaginable. Disclaimer: Made-to-Order Policy: As this piece is handcrafted specifically for you upon request, please be advised that all sales are final. We are unable to accept cancellations once the order is confirmed and production has begun. As with most natural materials, differences in structure, density and thickness are expected, as two pieces of sheepskin never look identical and tend to show natural variations in both curls and tones. Designer Viggo Boesen A pioneer of his time, Viggo Boesen (1907 – 1985) made grand gestures in the world of Danish design and architecture, bringing a new perspective to the forefront of the collective imagination throughout the 1930s. His work reflected a new Scandinavian ‘Funkis’ style, a Nordic take on Art Deco, which was popular during the time and brought with it an array of surprising forms and silhouettes. For the Pouf, it's soft and nurturing, an ideal companion. With sheepskin and rounded legs in oiled walnut, it lends an organic warmth to any interior. Pair with the Little Petra for an elegant lounge seating arrangement. Material: sheep skin 17 mm sahara, oiled walnut Dimensions: Little Petra VB1 lounge chair...
